Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:25 AM to 2:05 PM Duration: Contract from August 26 (or ASAP) through June 11 Population: Students with mild to moderate special education needs, alternating days between middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) settings Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students grades 6-12 Providing differentiated instruction in both inclusion and resource classroom settings Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly Qualifications: Valid Special Education certification for grades 6-12 or K-12 in Connecticut Experience working with mild to moderate special education populations preferred Ability to manage and engage students in multiple educational environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits offered: Competitive pay ranging from $30 to $45 per hour Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational journeys in a supportive community setting.
