Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Assignment Details: Duration: September 3, 2025 June 16, 2026 Weekly Hours: 35 Caseload: Approximately 50 students, Pre-K through 12th grade Location: On-site in Tacoma, WA (No virtual options) Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized physical therapy evaluations and treatments to students within the school setting Develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans that support student mobility and functional independence Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and student progress in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist eligible to practice in Washington State Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school or healthcare environments Strong knowledge of physical therapy interventions appropriate for ages Pre-K through 12 Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and educational staff Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain detailed records This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student health and participation throughout the academic year.
