A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide in-person services at an elementary school in Tacoma, WA. This contract position runs from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. Responsibilities: Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies Participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school settings Strong skills in evaluating and treating students with diverse needs Ability to provide effective in-person therapy (virtual services not accepted) Excellent communication and organizational abilities Familiarity with educational and special education environments preferred Location and Schedule: Position based in Tacoma, WA Work onsite at an elementary school Full-time, 35 hours per week from September 3, 2025, to June 16, 2026 This assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to impact student success through therapeutic support within a school environment.
