An opportunity is available for a full-time paraprofessional skilled in American Sign Language (ASL) to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a high school student with moderate to severe needs. This role is based in a K-12 educational setting in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-verbal students who are fluent in ASL, supporting their educational and communication needs effectively. Preference is given to candidates with skills in sign language interpreting, but an EIPA certification is not mandatory. Key Qualifications: Experience as a paraprofessional or sign language interpreter within K-12 school environments Proficient in American Sign Language communication Comfortable providing one-on-one support to a student with moderate to severe disabilities Ability to adapt communication styles to meet the needs of a non-verbal individual Commitment to maintaining a supportive, patient, and inclusive learning environment Location: Valley Center area, CA
