A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school serving students in grades 9-12. This contract position focuses on providing individualized educational support through both push-in and pull-out services to high school students. The role involves comprehensive lesson planning and case management, ensuring each student receives tailored instruction that meets their unique learning needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver special education instruction to grades 9-12 utilizing both push-in and pull-out methods Develop, implement, and modify lesson plans and educational materials Manage student cases including progress monitoring and collaborating with related service providers Maintain compliance with all Individualized Education Plan (IEP) requirements Engage with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success Qualifications: Active Illinois Special Education License, LBSI required Experience working with high school students in a special education setting Strong skills in lesson planning, case management, and differentiated instruction Excellent communication and collaboration abilities This opportunity offers a W-2 contract arrangement with competitive compensation.
