This contract position focuses on supporting high school students in grades 9-12 through both push-in and pull-out instructional models. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in grades 9-12 Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals Manage student case files and collaborate with parents, staff, and service providers Utilize both push-in (inclusive classroom support) and pull-out (small group or one-on-one instruction) approaches Support student progress by tracking and reporting outcomes Qualifications: Active Illinois Special Education License (LBS1) required Experience working with high school students preferred Strong organizational skills for managing cases and lesson plans Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment Job Details: Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Duration: Contract through the school year Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay on a W-2 contract basis 401(k) retirement plan options Health insurance and additional benefits available This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student success in a supportive school setting.
