This opportunity is for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher working with young learners aged 2 to 5 in a resource inclusion classroom. The role involves supporting a caseload of approximately five students, working alongside dedicated paraprofessionals to provide individualized support and development. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, offering a consistent routine throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Collaborate closely with related services staff and paraprofessionals to ensure effective support. Engage with early childhood and lower elementary age groups in classroom instruction and activities. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to foster inclusion and growth. Qualifications: Valid Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement is required. Experience and comfort with early childhood special education and lower elementary age groups. Proven ability to initiate and manage IEPs effectively within a resource inclusion setting.
