This is a contract position for the 2025/2026 school year, offering a flexible schedule with 35 hours per week, with part-time candidates welcomed. The role is itinerant, supporting multiple campuses, and requires in-person presence to provide direct, impactful instruction and support.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across various grade levels. Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, assessing individual needs and developing appropriate educational plans. Collaborate with campus staff, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support for student growth. Travel between campuses during the workweek to maintain consistent services and communication. Utilize adaptive techniques and assistive technology to enhance learning outcomes. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment promoting student engagement and achievement. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education preferred. Proven experience teaching K-12 students in a comparable setting. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage itinerant responsibilities effectively. Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Commitment to in-person teaching and flexibility in adapting to multiple locations. Location: Position based in Rocklin, CA with travel between local campuses.
