This itinerant teaching position supports a diverse student population ranging from infancy through young adults up to age 22. The role is based within a K-12 school setting and requires in-person instruction.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique communication and learning needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Provide direct instruction, support, and advocacy for students across all grade levels from ages 0 to 22. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, families, and support staff to ensure student success. Conduct assessments of communication skills and progress monitoring to adjust teaching strategies. Deliver itinerant services throughout the school community as needed. Use a variety of communication methods including sign language, auditory training, and assistive technologies. Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple age ranges. Strong skills in individualized instruction, assessment, and assistive technology. Ability to travel between classrooms and locations to provide itinerant services. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Position Details: Contract duration: 8/6/2025 to 6/4/2026. Full-time schedule; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In-person role located in Morgan Hill, CA. This contract provides an exciting opportunity to impact the educational journey of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across a wide age span.
