A K-12 educational position is available for a skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to serve students throughout the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This contract role offers an in-person, itinerant teaching opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 45 students across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities include: Delivering specialized instruction and support tailored for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Collaborating with school teams, families, and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing consultation and resources to classroom teachers to facilitate inclusive learning environments Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional techniques to meet individual needs Traveling between campuses as needed to fulfill service requirements Desired qualifications or experience: Certification or credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing Knowledge of communication methodologies and assistive technology relevant to the deaf and hard of hearing population Ability to manage a moderate caseload and strong organizational skills Comfortable with an itinerant work model and traveling between locations This role offers a flexible schedule with full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time candidates considered. The position is fully in-person, requiring presence on various campuses throughout the school week.
