A full-time school psychologist position is available to provide maternity leave coverage at a high school in Amherst, MA. This contract role runs from August through November, aligning with the start of the school year on August 27th. The position requires full-time hours, approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities: Manage a high school caseload of approximately 800 students Conduct about 8 psychological evaluations per month Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student well-being and academic success Provide assessment, counseling, and intervention services as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications: Credentialed School Psychologist with experience in a high school setting Strong assessment and evaluation skills Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Familiarity with relevant educational laws and regulations This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a secondary education environment for a defined contract period.
