35 hrs a week Caseload: 50 ish PreK - 12 Location:
Onsite only (no virtual services) Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the delivery of occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop and improve skills needed for daily school activities. Responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services as outlined in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed OT
Assist in implementing therapeutic interventions to support student participation in educational settings
Collect and document student data to monitor progress toward IEP goals
Prepare therapy materials and adapt classroom tools or environments as directed
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the supervising OT to promote student success
Maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Attend relevant team or IEP meetings as needed, with OT supervision
Qualifications: Current California COTA license
Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
Ability to work effectively under OT supervision and follow treatment plans
Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
