35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Caseload:
Approximately 50 students, PreK12 Location:
Onsite only (no virtual services) Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist to provide school-based physical therapy services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. The therapist will work collaboratively with educational staff to support students physical access and participation in their educational programs. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students physical therapy needs in an educational setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across various school sites
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with IEP and district requirements
Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and school district policies
Qualifications: Valid California Physical Therapist License
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
