A full-time contract opportunity is available for Educational Audiology Specialists to support K-12 students in Riverside, CA. This role focuses on providing audiological services within a school setting, ensuring students with hearing needs receive appropriate support and accommodations.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. Positions are open for three specialists: one located in the Indio area and two in the Murrieta area. Each role follows a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The contract duration extends through the school year. Key responsibilities include: Conducting audiological evaluations and hearing screenings for students Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized plans Monitoring hearing aids and assistive technologies to ensure effective use Providing counseling and training to staff and families regarding hearing health and accommodations Maintaining accurate records and compliance with educational and audiological standards Preferred qualifications and experience: Current certification and licensure as an Audiologist Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in educational settings Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to educational audiology Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks independently This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational success of students with hearing impairments.
