A K-12 school in Oakland, CA is seeking a licensed Audiologist to provide comprehensive hearing and audiological services on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities include: Conducting audiological evaluations and hearing assessments for students Identifying and managing hearing impairments and auditory processing issues Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing recommendations for hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other accommodations Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with educational guidelines Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology Current state licensure to practice Audiology Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of audiological assessments, hearing aid technology, and educational accommodations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently This contract position serves a vital role in supporting student success and inclusion through targeted audiological services.
