A full-time Special Education teacher is needed for a K-12 separate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom in New Bedford, MA. This contract position is set to begin on August 27, 2025, and will accommodate a caseload of 10 students, including three non-verbal learners. The classroom will have paraprofessional support to assist with student needs.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the needs of students with ASD. Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) that support student growth. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education. Valid Massachusetts state licensure/certification as a Special Education teacher. Minimum of two years experience teaching in a K-12 educational setting. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
