Key Qualifications: Vermont AOE License in Special Education (required) Experience working with K-2 students in special education settings Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Availability for in-person interviews immediately Location: Elementary school setting in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 15-20 K-2 students with diverse learning needs Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and interventions in accordance with students IEPs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed Communicate regularly with families and school personnel to support student success Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere This full-semester teaching contract provides an opportunity to apply specialized skills in a supportive elementary school environment.
