A K-12 school in Providence, RI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position covering the current school year. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who will support the psychological well-being and academic success of students through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective behavioral and learning strategies. Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to diverse student populations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development and foster a positive school environment. Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with educational and legal standards. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting. Proficiency with psychological testing and assessment tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and provide timely interventions.
