Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary-aged students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to data-driven decision making Assisting in the development of behavioral interventions and supports Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification or eligibility Experience working with elementary school students in an educational setting Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a full caseload effectively during a school day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This opportunity is for a Full School Year contract and involves working with an elementary school caseload, allowing you to make a direct impact on student success and well-being.
