Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized physical education programs tailored to students with diverse abilities and needs Utilize adaptive strategies and equipment to ensure all students can participate safely and effectively Collaborate with general physical education teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success Monitor student progress and adjust programming as needed to meet educational goals Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages physical activity and social interaction Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure in Physical Education or Adaptive Physical Education Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or therapeutic setting Strong understanding of adaptive physical education principles and practices Ability to modify activities to accommodate a wide range of abilities and needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location: Romeoville, IL This role offers meaningful work within a dynamic school environment, providing essential support to students with diverse physical and developmental needs.
