A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a special education co-op located in Chicago, IL, serving students from 6th grade through age 22. This in-person, contract position spans a full semester, beginning August 18, 2025, and concluding June 2, 2026. The role involves working 35 hours per week with a diverse student population who have multiple disabilities, some of whom may be nonverbal or utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

Key responsibilities include providing assessment, therapy, and support services to approximately 70 students, with an average therapy time of about 120 minutes per month per student. Collaboration with teachers, aides, and other specialists is essential to create individualized communication plans that enhance each students ability to interact and succeed in their educational environment.
