A School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Bellevue, Nebraska. This contract role supports a single building with a student population of approximately 350 and involves providing evaluations and behavioral support for students across all 13 disability categories outlined in Nebraska Rule 51. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure comprehensive psychological services are delivered throughout the academic year, from August 2025 to May 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments. Develop behavior intervention plans and perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as needed. Manage all psychological services related to eligibility determination and re-evaluation under Rule 51. Lead Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, prepare and write MDT reports. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings when requested. Provide support to all students requiring testing or behavior planning within the building. Collaborate with educators and staff to support students educational and behavioral needs. Qualifications and Skills: Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure. Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Knowledge of Nebraska special education laws, particularly Rule 51. Proficient in administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to independently manage caseload and schedules. Work Schedule: Typical work hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, with occasional before or after school MDT or IEP meetings as required.
