A school psychologist position is available for the 20252026 school year in an elementary setting located in Papillion, NE. This contracted role involves supporting a single elementary school with a total student population of approximately 350. The psychologist will provide comprehensive evaluation services and behavioral support in accordance with Nebraska Rule 51 for all 13 disability categories.

While counseling services are not part of the role, collaboration with educators and families to support student success is essential. Work hours are generally from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with occasional before or after school meetings. The position demands strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and timely documentation for evaluations and plans. Qualifications and desired experience: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting comprehensive educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavior rating scales Familiarity with all 13 disability categories under Nebraska Rule 51 Skill in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing behavior intervention plans Ability to facilitate MDT and IEP meetings and prepare detailed reports Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with students, parents, and school staff This contract runs from August 2025 through May 2026.
