A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available in Bridgeport, CT, supporting an elementary student in a 1:1 setting for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract role requires 32.5 hours per week and is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in educational environments.

Supporting the student's academic and social progress throughout the school day. Collaborating closely with educators and support personnel to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment. Qualifications and desired experience: Strong proficiency as a sign language interpreter with a proven track record. Current RID/NIC certification and/or a high EIPA score, demonstrating expert-level interpreting skills. Experience working in an elementary school setting is highly preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adhere to ethical standards of interpreting.
