A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for an elementary school serving 1st through 3rd grade students in an ESN (Extensive Support Needs) classroom. This direct hire position focuses on providing specialized instruction and support for students with moderate to severe disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs and abilities Implement evidence-based instructional strategies within the ESN classroom setting Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth and inclusion Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, supportive learning environment Maintain accurate records and provide comprehensive reports on student development Qualifications: Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching credential/license Experience teaching elementary-aged students (1st-3rd grade) with moderate to severe disabilities Ability to work effectively in an ESN classroom setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to individualized, inclusive education Location: Primary: Novato, CA Additional placements in Santa Rosa, CA This direct hire position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with special needs within a supportive school community.
