An opportunity is available for a full-time special education teacher to support high school students in a dedicated educational setting. This is a contract position starting as soon as possible, requiring onsite presence to foster meaningful, in-person engagement with students.

Duration: Contract (CSY) Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Population: High school students in a rural community Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the learning needs of high school students with disabilities. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to enhance student learning and accommodate diverse learning styles. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement and success. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations. Engage with students to foster social, emotional, and academic growth, promoting positive behavior and independent learning skills. Preferred Qualifications: Valid special education teaching certification. Experience working with high school students. Prior experience in rural educational settings or working with rural populations. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
