Work Setting: Onsite at a high school campus Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Start Date: Immediate availability preferred Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY) Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instructional services to high school students with special education needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles and abilities Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavioral reports, and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching credentials/licenses Proven experience working with high school students in special education settings Familiarity with rural population dynamics and challenges is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize student needs effectively Benefits and Opportunities: Opportunity to work closely with students in a close-knit rural community Impact students academic and social development through tailored education plans Full-time hours providing stability and consistency for both educators and students This role requires onsite commitment to foster direct engagement with students and colleagues.
