A diverse K-12 school district in Hartford, CT is seeking up to four Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support their student population during the current school year. While there are opportunities for multiple candidates, the final need may narrow to two positions based on district needs and candidate fit. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech pathology Background or comfort with teletherapy services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred, but not required Prior experience in school-based settings is a strong asset Responsibilities: Manage caseloads ranging from 45 to 60 students, providing individualized assessment and therapy services Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to extend service reach and accessibility Adapt service delivery based on student needs and district scheduling Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings Location and Schedule: Position is based in Hartford, CT within a large district setting Flexibility to relocate within district schools to balance caseloads and accommodate candidate preferences Benefits: Gain valuable experience in a large, supportive educational system Engage with diverse student populations in both in-person and teletherapy formats Opportunity to shape speech services in a growing district Collaborative environment working alongside dedicated professionals Interested candidates who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply promptly to explore this opportunity in supporting student communication development throughout the school year.
