A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Hartford, CT. This contract position lasts for the current school year (CSY), requiring commitment two days per week. The role supports pediatric students through assessment and therapy to improve speech and language skills, with options for teletherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for children across K-12 grade levels.
Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
Deliver services through in-person and teletherapy sessions as needed.
Monitor and document student progress to ensure treatment effectiveness.
Participate in meetings and trainings relevant to student needs and compliance.
Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
Experience working with pediatric populations.
Familiarity with school-based speech-language therapy and teletherapy modalities.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Eligible for providing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) support if applicable.
