qualified School Psychologist
to support elementary-aged students during the 20252026 school year. This position is
onsite , and may be filled by
one full-time
provider or
two part-time
professionals, depending on availability and approval.
Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity The School Psychologist will work closely with educational teams to conduct evaluations, consult with teachers and families, support behavior planning, and contribute to positive student outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct
psychoeducational assessments
for elementary students to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
Participate in
ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal)
meetings and support development of
IEPs .
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
Offer consultation services to school staff and families on strategies to support student learning and behavior.
Maintain all required documentation and ensure compliance with
Texas Education Agency (TEA)
and
IDEA
guidelines.
May support crisis intervention and response, if needed.
Work onsite at assigned campus(es); hybrid work may be possible but is not guaranteed and would require prior district approval.
Qualifications:
Required: Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Valid
Texas licensure
as a
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
Experience with elementary school populations
Familiarity with Texas special education procedures and timelines
Preferred: Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with diverse student populations and needs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
