Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Deliver effective instruction to a caseload of Kindergarten and 1st grade students within an SDC classroom. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring alignment with students unique needs. Adapt and modify curriculum content to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster a cohesive learning environment. Provide academic, social, and emotional support tailored to each student. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state special education laws and regulations. Qualifications: Active Special Education teaching credential valid in California. Experience teaching in SDC settings strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families. Strong classroom management and communication skills essential for student success.
