Position Details: Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: California Start Date: ASAP End Date: End of the 2024-2025 School Year Caseload: Kindergarten and 1st grade students Schedule: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Manage and instruct a caseload of K-1st grade students in an SDC setting Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs tailored to student needs Adapt curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff Provide academic, social, and emotional support to students Ensure compliance with all federal and state special education laws and guidelines Qualifications: Active Special Education teaching credential valid in California Experience working in Special Day Class environments preferred Strong ability to collaborate with staff, students, and parents Effective classroom management and communication skills This role is ideal for educators passionate about making a meaningful impact in the early education of students with special needs.
