Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized assistance to students with special education needs, ensuring their safety and engagement throughout the school day Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and document observations to inform instructional adjustments Assist with classroom management and facilitate communication between students, staff, and families Support student participation in both academic and social activities Qualifications and Experience: Experience working one-on-one with students, preferably in a special education setting Understanding of elementary education principles and special education practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual student needs Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families Location: Worcester, Massachusetts, within an elementary school environment Job Details: Contract position for the school year Focused on providing 1:1 support for students requiring special education services Benefits: Gain valuable experience in special education Work within a supportive school community Contribute directly to student success and development Candidates interested in making a meaningful impact through specialized support in an elementary classroom setting are encouraged to apply for this contract opportunity.
