Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills to identify individual student needs Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans to address speech, language, and fluency disorders Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress and facilitate inclusion Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Qualifications and preferred experience: A valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings across K-12 levels Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and evidence-based therapy techniques Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and educational staff Familiarity with state educational regulations and IDEA requirements This contract position provides a meaningful way to impact student communication skills while gaining experience in a dynamic school environment within Southern California.
