This position offers an opportunity to work as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) providing essential healthcare services within a K-12 school setting. The role is itinerant, covering 11-13 schools, allowing professionals to apply their expertise across multiple educational environments. This is a 12-month contract position based in Cary, NC, designed to deliver high-quality direct and indirect physical therapy services to students on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services, primarily 30-minute sessions, approximately one day per week at designated schools. Deliver indirect services through Student Assistance Services (SAS) as part of comprehensive student support. Travel between multiple school locations, ensuring timely and effective therapy coverage. Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in compliance with school and healthcare standards. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to enhance student outcomes. Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) credential appropriate for the healthcare and educational settings. Experience working within K-12 schools or healthcare related to educational environments is preferred. Ability to manage an itinerant schedule covering multiple locations efficiently.
