Location: Elementary school serving grades K-5 Vernon Hills, Illinois School operates within a shared facility housing two schools: Townline and the School of Dual Language Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' educational and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Provide consultation and training to staff on student mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations related to school psychology Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-5 students, particularly in inclusive or bilingual settings Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required Familiarity with dual-language education environments is a plus Schedule and Contract: Contract duration aligns with the school year: August 6, 2025 June 2, 2026 Staff hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 8:15 AM 4:00 PM Wednesday Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Comprehensive benefits package offered This position offers a chance to make a significant impact on young learners educational and emotional development within a supportive dual-language environment.
