Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across a K-12 caseload Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive educational access Travel between school locations within the district to deliver direct services Qualifications: Valid Colorado Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license is required Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired is preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to varying developmental levels Strong communication and teamwork skills Location: Colorado Springs, CO Position Details: Full-time contract position Start Date: August 11, 2025 End Date: May 21, 2025 Travel between schools expected as part of duties This position offers the chance to engage in meaningful, hands-on work with visually impaired students, enhancing their learning and helping them reach their full potential.
