An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher licensed in Moderate/Severe disabilities, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year in Sacramento, CA. This full-time, direct hire position serves students from transitional kindergarten through adult transition, depending on placement, within a K-12 setting. Key Qualifications: Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching license Experience working with students across TK-6, TK-8, middle school (7-8), or adult transition programs Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 12 students Strong commitment to differentiated instruction and student advocacy Effective communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social development Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated service delivery Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Location: Sacramento, California (K-12 school environment) This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational journeys by providing specialized instruction and fostering inclusive learning environments.
