A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting. This role requires a Moderate/Severe license and offers the opportunity to work with students in various grade spans including TK-6, TK-8, Middle School (7-8), or adult transition programs. Placement will be determined based on qualifications and school needs.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Deliver specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities. Manage a caseload typically capped at 12 students to ensure focused attention and support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other educators, therapists, and families, to promote student success. Monitor and report student progress regularly. Qualifications: Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching license. Experience working with students across a range of ages and needs within special education. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with families and school staff. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
