A school-based speech-language pathologist role is available in Joliet, IL, serving elementary-aged students on a contract lasting the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity offers a supportive environment for either certified SLPs or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with orientation beginning August 4-5 and student interaction starting August 18 through May 29.

Writing clear, detailed reports following assessments and observations. Developing and maintaining individualized education program (IEP) objectives or accommodations. Collaborating with parents and school staff to monitor development and identify support needs. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state SLP license. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Flexibility and problem-solving aptitude. This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with part-time consideration, paid orientation, and competitive pay ranging from $45 to $55 per hour based on experience.
