Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and fluent sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to accommodate students communication needs. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized educational plans (IEPs) related to communication. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification preferred. Prior experience as a sign language interpreter in K-12 educational environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to supporting student learning and inclusion. Location: Position is based in Madera, CA within a K-12 public school setting.
