A K-12 school in Humboldt, IA, is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a School Psychologist for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role is integral to supporting students academic success, socio-emotional well-being, and behavioral development within a comprehensive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs, strengths, and learning challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support students mental health. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. Promote positive school climate initiatives and support preventative programs addressing student wellness. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state. Experience working with K-12 student populations within educational environments. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Location:Humboldt, Iowa Serving students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade. Contract Details: Duration: School year contract (NSY) Position designed to provide consistent psychological services throughout the academic year.
