A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school serving grades PK through 8th in Washington, DC. This onsite role requires expertise in providing speech therapy services directly to students within the school setting.

Key responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive learning environment for students. Qualifications and experience desired: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience in school-based speech therapy, including familiarity with pediatric populations. Ability to provide teletherapy services if needed, alongside onsite clinical work. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent clinical experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored to working with children and educational staff. Location: Washington, DC Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY) Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
