A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade at an elementary school setting in Washington, DC. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students in grades PK-8 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs needs Provide direct speech-language therapy services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school district and service standards Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-age children Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work onsite full-time in Washington, DC This contract position offers a rate of $40-55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
