A high school in Fremont, CA is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with high school students who have mild to moderate disabilities. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Mild/Moderate credential and have experience managing diverse high school caseloads.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Mild/Moderate Special Education credential
Experience working with high school students in a special education setting
Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and compliance requirements
Ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
Effective classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to in-person teaching and student engagement
