Developer

for a contract with a client in

Atlanta, GA . Candidates must have strong experience with IBM i (AS400), JDE OMS, and advanced SQL on AS400 to be considered for this role. Rate Range:

$45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities

Provide production support for JDE applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues as per SLAs and managing incident escalations. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, while documenting solutions for the knowledge base and maintaining SOPs. Develop and maintain code using CLLE, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and SQL400, including bug fixes and enhancements. Create and update technical design documents, including flowcharts, pseudo code, and unit test plans. Support scheduled reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) and manage change control during maintenance windows. Collaborate in Agile environments, participating in project meetings, test plan reviews, and using tools like JIRA and Clarity. Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM i (iSeries/AS400), JDE Worldsoft, and SQL400. Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and JDE OMS integrations. Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Clarity, and ServiceNow.
