$71,000/yr - $83,000/yr Responsibilities
Manage key processes to support inventory strategies: execute purchasing and replenishment strategies for specific suppliers; achieve target inventory metrics (turns, in-stock, customer fill rates, unproductive inventory); support strategies for order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, and managed order schedules (including strategic and special buys); prepare parts of the monthly Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment and logistical meetings with assigned suppliers; review SKU/DC sales forecasts; review reports, interpret data, and take necessary actions; monitor product availability for new SKU and vehicle launches; collaborate with distribution centers on delivery schedules and inventory capacity; escalate operational challenges as needed; support the execution and disposition of unproductive inventory; perform ad hoc reporting and project management as assigned. Perform purchasing activities: review and release daily orders from the replenishment system; confirm delivery appointments and advanced shipping notices; coordinate and process inventory returns; develop and communicate holiday schedules with suppliers, warehouses, and dealers; determine and process inventory transfers; determine and execute out-of-bounds shipment opportunities; review and address delivery, shipment, and carrier issues; identify opportunities for supplier improvement and develop actions to drive results; leverage data analytics to monitor and improve supplier performance; perform housekeeping tasks as necessary. Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Inventory Management, Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, or similar field; plus 1-2 years of experience as a planner or related role. Understanding of MRP, DRP, S&OP, forecasting, production/inventory planning and scheduling. Experience in a multi-warehouse national distribution network. Ability to work as a team player and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, relationship-building, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI or similar platforms at intermediate level; advanced preferred. Physical Job Requirements
