Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic leader to serve as the Communications Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping public relations and media strategies, developing and implementing communication plans that strengthen the organizations image, inform the public, and support key initiatives. The Communications Manager will oversee digital and traditional communication channels, manage media relations, and play a vital role in crisis communication, branding, and community outreach while working closely with leadership, media representatives, and community stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with organizational goals and values. Manage public relations initiatives, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication. Oversee social media presence, website content, and digital engagement efforts. Serve as a primary media liaison and spokesperson for the organization. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote programs, services, and initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, community partners, and stakeholders. Coordinate internal communications to ensure alignment across departments and effective messaging. Plan and execute public events, press conferences, and community outreach programs. Monitor media trends, public sentiment, and communication effectiveness to refine strategies. Ensure compliance with communication regulations and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. At least five years of experience in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or business/public administration. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Expertise in media relations, crisis communication, and digital engagement. Excellent writing, editing, and public speaking skills. Knowledge of branding, marketing, and content strategy. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
