In this role, you will work under the guidance of certified teachers to help students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing equitable access to learning for all students. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers with delivering lessons, activities, and assessments Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Reinforce learning strategies and classroom accommodations Monitor and support student behavior in line with school policies Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources as needed Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required New Hampshire Paraeducator Level 2 Certification required (achieved through 48+ college credits, associates degree, ParaPro test, or portfolio) Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Work Environment: Typical elementary school setting, both in classrooms and outdoor areas May involve physical activity such as movement, lifting, and supervising students This position provides a chance to engage with students in a meaningful way while supporting educators in delivering quality instruction.
