An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in Kent, WA, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role involves working closely with students who require occupational therapy services to improve their daily functional skills and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs. Assess student progress and document treatment outcomes according to school protocols. Support the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques to enhance student learning and independence. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to ensure best practices in therapy services. Preferred Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably working with elementary-aged children. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school documentation requirements. Location: Position based in Kent, Washington within an elementary school setting.
